Join us for an Amazon Web Services evening class through CWI starting November 4th!
Alan Carwile will be teaching “AWS Cloud Foundations”, to prepare students for the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. If you’re new to Cloud infrastructure, or if you’re new to AWS in particular, this is the course for you. Content includes: concepts, economics and billing, security, networking and content delivery, compute, storage, databases, architecture, auto scaling, and monitoring.
Classes are Monday and Wednesday 6pm-9pm for 3 weeks. We meet via Zoom for all sessions. November 11th is Veterans Day so we will not meet that day, and the last day will be November 25th. Content includes video presentations, slides, discussions, and AWS management console hands-on labs.
The course includes a practice exam and 50% off the price of the certification exam. Students should be familiar with IT concepts (computers, networking, database, and security) though not necessarily experts. Programming experience is not expected.
