A vibrant downtown is more than buildings and events—it’s the sense of connection, pride, and possibility we create together. By focusing on consistency, revitalization, and collaboration, we can continue building a downtown that reflects the energy and creativity of our entire community.

It’s a fresh, upbeat gathering for people who love our community, enjoy brainstorming, and are willing to share a little time and talent. Each month we’ll welcome a guest—voices from our schools, health care, city leadership, emergency services, or simply someone with something positive and meaningful to share.
Expect a quick 10-minute presentation followed by a lively round-robin conversation. Sometimes we’ll bring topics that need community input; other times, you’ll bring the ideas to the table.
Connection, collaboration, and fellowship are the goal—and we happily leave negativity at the door.

This group comes together to build a strong sense of place, preserve what makes our community unique, and enhance the look and feel of our downtown through thoughtful design and historic preservation.
We work side by side to support and strengthen existing businesses while also helping new ideas take root and grow. We celebrate what we already have, shine a light on our downtown’s assets, and create experiences that make people want to come downtown, stay awhile, and enjoy all that makes Portland… Portland.
From lively events to long-term planning, we’re about creating a downtown that feels welcoming, vibrant, and full of possibility—for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
