Where does the time go? It’s been a while since the last calendar update but good things come to those who wait. Since the last newsletter the golf committee has put the finishing touches on this year’s golf outing aka, "Golfers for Granger Community Scholarship Event". You can find the event on our calendar in June and book mark it, online registration will open shortly.  In the mean time you can use the attached flyer to get all the details.

Next up is the March GBA Afterhours at Old National Bank. Be sure to check out the event page and share with your peers.
 

Finally, we have some great news about an amazing young lady from Granger that has been given the honor of being the MDA Goodwill Ambassador for the State of Indiana for 2012. Read on to learn more and find out how you can take part of something that truly servers a greater good.

Golf Committee

June 4th is the date for this year’s GBA Golf Outing. It’s never too early to start planning your golf schedule, so start warming up your swing and put this event on your calendar. Registration and sponsorship information will be available next week. Great door prizes, awards and goodies await all who sign up. Proceeds from this event go directly to funding scholarships and grants to Granger students.

We are adding a Silent Auction to this year's golf outing as an additional source of fundraising (and also to add exposure with area businesses to GBA and our mission). We are requesting the following: any items/packages that you would like to donate, ideas for auction items, or contacts of individuals/businesses independent of the GBA who would be able to contribute. Nikki's Ninja's for MDA Fun(d) Raiser

Beef O'Brady's in Granger is joining the Nikki Losievski, the 2012 Indiana Goodwill MDA Ambasador, in a fundraiser to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Nikki is a dynamic Granger resident and freshman at Penn HS. Beef's is helping Nikki on her quest to raise funds for her Muscular Dystrophy Family by donating 15% of the bill of any patron that presents the attached coupon to their server all day on Monday, March 5th.
