Here are the Chamber Nation system updates for the past 30 days (August):

1. On the billing record for your members, anytime a payment or credit is entered on their account, you can now send them a receipt right from their billing screen by clicking on the "rcpt" link.

2. There is now the option in the TCS Page “about us” information to put in custom HTML using the “source code” button.  Please do not use this feature unless you are certain about what you are doing.  This can break your entire TCS page if the code is not entered correctly.
    
3. If you find that when you go to send a Broadcast Message that you do not have the same editing features in the message area as you do in the newsletter, you simply need to turn on the Full CK Editor for Broadcast Messaging.  To do this you simply go to MMS Configuration, click on Broadcast Message Configuration, and then put a check mark in the box for HTML Messages (3rd Option Down).
    
4. There is a New Local Search Engine.  It is the same as the chamber search engine link but has a new graphic that you can use if you prefer. You can get this link by going to MMS Configuration, then to System Links, and then down to Link #10.2 and choose the 2nd link option there.
    
5. A new version of the Fancy Scroller for Events is now available.  With this new version, you can edit the code to customize the colors to fit your site.  You are able to edit the color code to change Background Color, the Date Color and/or the Link Color.  You can access this new version of the Fancy Scroller by going to MMS Configuration, then to System Links, and then down to Link 4.17b.

We are focusing on the public website experience and pay more attention to the end-user so that you can provide them with the cleanest, up-to-date browsing experience.

I am a new Chamber member in Lehi, Utah, and like most of you, wanted to construct a Chamber TCS.  Currently, I teach computer courses and have written several manuals (Adobe, Microsoft, and Web Development Technologies) to guide students through the computer learning process.      Have you been frustrated when you go to send a Broadcast Message and your options in the Main Message area are limited (or non-existent).  Often times you are wanting to send a quick email blast to your members, without the formatting requirements or structure of the newsletter, but want to have a lot of the same editing options within the main body of your message.  If you go to your Broadcast Messages and find that the full editor is missing, you can easily fix this.

     To turn on the Full CK Editor in your Broadcast Messages, you want to go to MMS Configuration, and then click on the link for Broadcast Message Configuration (on the left-hand column).  Once in there, click on the box next to "HTML Messages" (the 3rd option down) and this will enable your CK Editor to be able to customize even your simplest of eblasts.
