We have seen a dramatic increase in use of the Chamber Social Network specifically in the area of lead tracking and delivery to members.   Since many of you need to report and study these transactions we have added the ability to break down the information by date, member category, admin who created the record and more.

Adding > Views Since...

Now the traffic totals on the members TCS pages are associated with their join date.  

This feature has been added to your sites.  This is enabled by going to MMS Config -> EcTown Information and checking "Show Exposures Since Join Date:" and then clicking on "Submit".  

From that point, Since <Join Date> where Join Date is the date found in the member's record.

If you would like assistance in activating this please let us know. 

Member's Last Update Noted Now on Member Records

Is it possible to add a message to the Member Database that shows the last time a record was updated?

There are times when I look up a member's information and wonder (and need to know) when and if a change was made. (changes such as contact name, address, phone etc...) It doesn't have to say what change was made, just when.

I think other Chambers might find this helpful as well.

HOW TO: When you go in to change a record, scroll to the bottom. Just above the submit button is the last change date.

Member Setup Service $34.99


We have struggled with this for a long time but after a great deal of thought we decided to offer a setup service directly to members.  The charge is based on costs and not motivated by profit.  There will be no charges to the Chamber or associations, but billed direct to members who have requested this special service.

Category Specific Advertising is Here!!

You all have the ability to sell banner ads based on the member category selected.

If you have 50 categories within your member directory and each category accompanies 2 ads without rotation, you have 100 new ad spots to sell.  If you sell these locations for only $5.00 per month you could earn an additional $500 a month in revenue for your organization.

Public Calendar Event Submission Tracking

We have implemented this new feature for you.  

The event submission system now asks for info from the person entering the event.  We have also added a new report to Quick Reports, under Admin-Only Reports, called Event Contributors.

Media and File Center Access Counter

I think this will be an appreciated tool for those who use the media and file center to distribute information to members and the public.

To see how many times a file is accessed simply view the file in the media and file center and note the counter.

Private Events Feature

We've implemented the Private Events feature that you had asked for. Please take a look and let us know what you think. You can try it out by:

1. Go to Event Registration Admin and create a new event registration
2. In the Registration Available drop-down box of the Add/Change Event Registration section, select Invitation Only
3. Complete your Event Registration as you normally would

If you check the general list of event registration you will see that the new event does not appear in that list. However, a link is also generated in the Registration URL's box which you can copy and paste into your email.

ENGINEERING NOTES: Requested Updates from Meeting

Here are three items that were requested by the Chamber Executives during our last meeting:

1. Show times a banner in a particular directory category is exposed and stats need to go back for one year.
2. Calendar invites where members say if they are going. Many people call in to the Chamber... executives want to be able to enter that into the members calendar invite.
3. The banner stats only allow for current and last month views... when selling these banners the executives need a year of history... please add this ability like you did recently for member directory exposures.
