System Change Log

Here are the Chamber Nation system updates for the past 30 days (March)
  1. New "Incomplete Membership Registrations Report" is now available.  This report will give you a listing of all individuals who have started the registration process but did not complete it.  It allows you to follow up with these individuals to help secure their membership.  To access this report simply go to the "Quick Reports" and look under the category of "Admin-Only Reports."

  2. New Report in the Billing Menu - "Overpayment Report."  On the left-hand column, under the reports section, you will now find an "Overpayment Report."  This report will list all members who currently have a positive balance due to overpayment.  The report filters out members who have an overall $0 or negative balance, and will only show members who have a net overpay on all invoices.

  3. By default, when prospects are converted to members, they are put into the database as a renewal invoice since they have been in the system already.  There is now the option (by request of Chamber Nation) to turn on a feature to treat prospect conversions as New Members - so this will mark prospect conversion invoices as new members rather than renewal invoices.

  4. New Job Board - There is a new feature that can be turned on for you by Chamber Nation that is an advanced Job Board module.  This new module allows not only the posting of jobs available, but individuals can post their resumes online, there is a whole new area where you can list skills, certifications, and Associations.  This is a new feature, so any existing job board information would have to be copied/pasted to the new one.  Contact Chamber Nation if you would like this new module activated for your Chamber.

  5. New Project Manager - Kim Allen has taken over as the Project Manager.  See her Bio in this current newsletter for more information about her and the asset she is to Chamber Nation.

New Project Manager

Kim Allen is the new Project Manager for Chamber Nation in addition to her duties as the Member Support Manager.  She is excited about being a part of the Chamber Nation team and assisting our Chambers nationwide.  She started working for the company in October 2014 and has already found herself feeling right at home with the office staff and in her interactions with our Chambers and their members.

She and her husband are passionate about people.  They pastor a church in Quincy, CA and devote their time in ministering to all ages.  Kim especially loves the young people and leads the Youth Ministries program and in Music Ministries.  It is because of her passion for people that makes customer service seem natural for her.

Kim is personable and goal oriented.  She strives to bring an atmosphere of satisfaction with every individual she assists. One of her goals is to help our Chambers feel that they have a reliable and successful support team backing them up.  "If our Chambers are successful, then we are successful!"

We are thrilled to have Kim as part of the Team and we believe you will receive the customer service and support that represents the high standard of Chamber Nation!

Tip of the Month:
Scheduling Events & Linking Them

One of the things that is very important to remember when using the Chamber Nation system to schedule events, both on the event calendar and in the event registration system is this:  Make sure you enter the event on the Calendar FIRST!  After you have entered the event in the calendar first, then you can go into the Event Registration and transfer all of the details in by choosing the event from the drop-down menu.

If, for some reason, the event registration page is not displaying a button to "click here to register for this event," all you have to do to fix that is to go back into the calendar admin and click to "edit" that particular event.  Then scroll down on the event information page to the option titled "Link to Event Registration System" and click on the drop-down option and choose the event from inside there.  That's all there is to it.

Let's Put Our Cities On the Map

Dear Chamber Nation Customers,

Last week we received a number of emails asking us about this new Google program called "Let's Put Our Cities on the Map" - we think it's great!

Over the years we have supported Google Places and answered member questions regarding this tool. As part of our PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP PLAN, we will be continuing our support. To simplify, and help you get a jump on the process, we have prepared an easy to follow document on how members are able to add their business to the Google Places program that you can VIEW HERE
