In order to turn this feature on you will want to go to your "Configuration" and click on "Event Registration Configuration." Then in there, click on the option titled, "Enable Attendee Check-in Page." When selected, this option will enable a page that allows attendees to be checked in quickly and easily on-site at an event. You will simply be able to click on "Checkin" and it will confirm that you want to check the attendee in. Once you do, it will record their attendance. This page is also enabled to work with USB QR code scanners and the QR code function within event registration. Now it is easy to update your Photo Grid Directory Pages to be mobile responsive. You can access this new code from your "System Links" area 1.18 and 1.19 or make this simple script change in your website pages where a photo grid exists. If the photo grid directory URL you are now using looks something like this: http://www.chamberorganizer.com/members/directory/search_category_photogrid.php?org_id=GWPC&bci=21532541&nc=1 Change it to this (notice the change to the end of the URL): http://www.chamberorganizer.com/members/directory/search_category_photogrid.php?org_id=GWPC&bci=21532541&nc=1&r=1 Note the '&r=1' added, this should make the script be responsive. Updates on the Member Agreement Verbiage: You can use the "Prompt for user agreement verbiage at renewal?" dropdown in the New Member Registration Config menu to require members to sign off on the org's verbiage when they renew. (Before, we had to program this in for each org.) For both new members and renewing members, you can choose whether to "Get Initials" or to use "Yes/No" radio buttons. Currently, organizations will have to use the same verbiage for both signup and renewal; if you want to use different verbiage for each process, we would need to do some billable customization. You will find this feature under the "Communications" area. Look for the link "Send Membership Proposal to Prospect" and answer a couple of questions. Go ahead and try it by sending a proposal to yourself! Ps. Check out Chamber.Store for some great ideas Coming Soon - Board Member Training Manual In many instances the Chamber Board Members are volunteers that have no chamber expertise. They know they have access to something called the "Chamber Website," and to something "else" that does some "other things." What the board often does not know is what all they have and what all they can do with the Chamber Nation System and Program. Therefore, when I chamber is without a Chamber Executive, due to transitions, restructuring, etc. and the Board is trying to run things in the interim, most of them do not know what they have at their fingertips nor how to do it. And, as volunteers, they do not have hours and hours to spend watching training videos or scheduling one-on-one training sessions. Our plan is to help the board by creating a special training section in our Training Guide that will explain to the board how to use the primary areas of the Chamber Nation System to improve the success of the Chamber and simplified instructions to maintain the use of the system. This is a work that has just begun, but we are excited to share this upcoming feature with you and will keep you informed as progress is being made on it. Stay Tuned...
