Chamber Store Listen to Chamber Talk Radio Member Money Machine List of Participating Organizations in the Premium Membership Plan Satisfied Members Change Log Updates on the Member Agreement Verbiage: You can use the "Prompt for user agreement verbiage at renewal?" dropdown in the New Member Registration Config menu to require members to sign off on the org's verbiage when they renew. (Before, we had to program this in for each org.) For both new members and renewing members, you can choose whether to "Get Initials" or to use "Yes/No" radio buttons. Currently, organizations will have to use the same verbiage for both signup and renewal; if you want to use different verbiage for each process, we would need to do some billable customization. I am very excited to announce that our Event Registration Module now has an option to turn on a "Booth Map" for registrations. When the booth map is enabled, it will allow Chamber Nation customers to create a grid map, drag and drop booths, and upload a background image to create an interactive booth map for a conference/tradeshow/etc. Registrants can select booths, view others, and see who else has taken which booths. It also creates a public version of the booth map for each event that can be viewed by anyone. To enable the booth option, go to event registration configuration and under booth options there is a checkbox to enable it. Then, in each individual event setup, there is a checkbox to create a booth map for that event. If it is checked, a link for 'booths' will show up in the functions section on the event reg list. See ExposAllYear.com for more information about this exciting new feature. We now have a Bootstrap Mobile Responsive Calendar available. This will allow your calendar of events to be mobile dynamic automatically on all mobile devices. To utilize this, just replace your current calendar with System Link #4.6c and that will take care of it. We also now have a Bootstrap Mobile Responsive Member Directory. Again, this will allow your Member Directory to be mobile dynamic. To utilize this, just replace your current member directory with System Link #1.29. There are new setting options for this Mobile Responsive Member Directory that you can configure through MMS Configuration --> Member Directory Configuration. In this same configuration, you can turn on the option to view a Google Map of your members as well. In order to "view all members" on this Mobile Responsive Directory, simply leave all search options blanks and click on "Search" and that will bring up all member results (both on the map, and the list) Ask Prospects... Kim Allen, the Project Manager for Chamber Nation, has moved with her family to Modesto, California because her husband accepted a new job there. Kim, also, has taken a new job in Modesto. We are very sad to say goodbye to her at Chamber Nation, but excited for her and her family for all that is ahead for them. Dr. Ryan Nielsen is now the General Manager for Chamber Nation and will be overseeing much of the Project Management, Staff Management, Education, Training, and more. Chamber Nation will be hiring a new person in the position of Member and Administrative Support. We will be excited, in the next newsletter, to introduce you to this new Chamber Nation employee who will be serving you and your members. No matter how dedicated and well-versed the newcomer is, there is still institutional knowledge that the newcomer needs to become a productive member of the organization. The question I’m often asked is how to share that knowledge, and when to share it? Here are a few thoughts on how I work with this important step in positioning an organization as valuable to newcomers.
