Advertising Sales Discussion

Sam Azzam of Chamber Nation will open a discussion on ways that we might be able to help our customers get the most out of the integrated advertising systems.

In addition, you should know that we work closely with CommunityLink and they offer many full service advertising and sales programs for Chambers of Commerce all over the country.  As a Chamber Nation customer various special offers are available to you when you work directly with George Prudhomme - Cell: (314) 566-0920

Adding Real-Time Search to Websites for Your Own Community

Emil from the Aventura Chamber of Commerce in Florida provided this link to us on Friday.  You might be useful for adding real-time search for your community (outside of the Chamber):

We will be studying it to see if it makes sense to integrate into the MMS platforms.

Thanks for this Emil!

Items Completed per Recent Executive Meeting Requests

Items Completed per Recent Executive Meeting Requests:

  • Add Support for LinkedIN within the Multipost Area
  • Provide Access to Members for Search and No Finds + Finds As Well
  • Newsletter Advertising Module
  • Member-to-Member specials / coupon automation
  • URL Shortener so multi-posts look better once pushed out to social networks
  • Calendar break out to power multiple event websites
  • Create Buy Local Program video training for members.
  • The admin area for TCS pages off the member data base admin screen (Edit Traffic Catcher Site Info/Text) is missing a place to put the paragraph of Going Green information under where the admin is able to activate this service where members are not given access to the self service program.
  • In the members area bottom needs to have a Member-To-Member Icon and Link to only those specials.
  • Newsletters now allow for multiple calendar event modules... one for members, one for community, one of chamber or any combination.
  • The banner stats only allow for current and last month views... when selling these banners the executives need a year of history... please add this ability like you did recently for member directory exposures.
  • Convert the Going Green Program into a self-service module for members
  • Member to Member discount program
  • The Going Green program indicator needs to be improved on all member directories
  • Admins are now able to quickly edit the going green program information at the member level through admin access screen
  • Where the member sets up their going green information it needs to say "I Take the Pledge So Add My Business to this Program __ (Check Box)"
  • If the person does not enter anything in the paragraph area (although it requires 150 chars.) they can proceed with nothing in the box (this is an error).
  • The paragraph in the GG area needs to say (150 chars or more required).
  • Add a way to show how many times a particular member category is requested by month so they can use stats to sell category specific banner ads.

Going to the NEXT Level... Are You Ready?

By Richard Scully

Dear Customers,

We are working on some very exciting technology partnerships.

These partnership will ultimately provide Chamber of Commerce executives with new options (to approve) in order to use member business information to power some very robust broadcasting options - expanding your ability to promote members beyond the Chamber website and network.

Always keep in mind that in this highly connected electronic world that "He who owns the information wins" and this means that the Chamber of Commerce is in a very unique situation.

From our experience, there are two types of Chamber of Commerce customers.... one is the customer who views their technology as a good way to manage the Chamber and the others are looking at ways to leverage the vast potential of the Chamber information to greatly expand the reach of their community.

Both kinds of customers equally benefit today from what we are doing at Chamber Nation, but those Chambers looking to really push the broadcastiing limits may begin to appreciate the options we are now working on and will be presenting in the near future*.

First Major Mobile App Deal Almost Done!

Last month I sent all of you a letter through the newsletter about our intent to start establishing deals with highly successful applications.  Today we are pleased to announce an agreement to begin to incorporate the We Rewards Buy Local Program ("BLP Special Edition") application into the Chamber Nation platform.  This is no ordinary application and has shown major success with both Dominos Pizza and Pepsi.  This application could have major implications on how Chamber of Commerce executives approach the community on buying locally.

Just as Domino's and Pepsi are using it to build their wealth, it should have the same affect on small business owners which will directly impact your Chamber community.

A great deal of thought has gone into our strategy and will remain very APP selective.  Only dealing with applications that will be valuable to your members and the Chamber of Commerce community.  This is the next logical step in our quest to help Chambers of Commerce become the most "Trusted Source" for local "MOBILE INTERACTIVE" information.

We believe this is also the next logical step in coordinating the power of our new Buy Local Program with the latest "Check In" technology people are raving about.  We have worked hard to be sure this delivers better value to your members versus going direct through iTunes or the Google Apps store for this type of advanced marketing solution.  This edition will be better and offer bonuses to members ONLY, plus we'll support the application through the Free Members Support center... try that through iTunes!!
