To remain competitive in the next economy, the United States must expand its innovation footprint and capitalize on the untapped talent, technology, and infrastructure across America.
Under the auspices of the National Commission on Innovation and Competitiveness Frontiers, the Council on Competitiveness has launched, “Competitiveness Conversations Across America”: a series of regional summits and fora in all corners of the United States to uncover local best practices in amplifying innovation capacity and capability, and to elevate and deploy these practices to national attention.
The Mountain West Competitiveness Conversation will focus on the region’s emergence as a global innovation leader, specifically exploring its success in semiconductors, clean energy, advanced nuclear, and cybersecurity. Leadership panels will discuss strategies for accelerating innovation, boosting competitiveness, and fostering prosperity and security in the Mountain West and the United States.

The DoD is fast-tracking the new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification 2.0 (CMMC) framework, requiring the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) to prove compliance to third-party assessors. Prime Contractors are already putting enormous pressure on subcontractors to be compliant or face exclusion from bids - accelerating your focus on compliance. To support the Idaho DIBs, Shadowscape is partnering with Mission43, Boise State Cybersecurity, Idaho Apex Accelerator, Idaho Technology Council, and Tech Help to bring you the inaugural "Idaho CMMC Alliance 2024" event on Tuesday, August 27, from 11:30 AM MT to 4:30 PM MT at the new veteran's facility "The Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse" (3179 E Barber Valley Dr, Boise, ID). This free event will provide critical information to DoD Contractors and MSPs as you navigate the new CMMC process and help you "Strengthen Your Competitive Advantage with CMMC Compliance!" Join us for a complimentary lunch and drinks, featuring exceptional speakers and ample knowledge sharing opportunities with your peers. Hear from members of our armed forces on national security threats, gain insights from DoD contractors who have navigated the CMMC process, and learn from a Certified CMMC Assessor who will provide insights into the process, roles, costs, and challenges to prepare for and pass an assessment. Take the first step toward understanding CMMC and turning compliance into a strategic business advantage! Register Today -> Idaho CMMC Alliance 2024 |
