1) Prospecting for Members - Every Chamber and/or Membership Organization is on the lookout for new members. Chambers, like other organizations, use a variety of strategies and tactics to approach new members. Everything from cold-calling, email, social media, direct mail, list purchasing, etc. are employed by Chambers to attract new members, or get former members to re-up. What strategies have you and your Chamber used to gain access to potential new members. Can you give us some examples of a strategy or strategies that have worked for you? Retaining members is on-going process that requires much care and feeding by Chamber staff, board members and ambassadors.
