Plumas Christian School in the beautiful Sierra Mountains in scenic Quincy, Ca. is seeking a part time teacher for our Kindergarten, 8:15-12:00 classroom starting this fall.  Join our enthusiastic staff teaching and nurturing our small classes of eager students spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.   We utilize biblically based quality curriculum.  Be a part of a school “family” where discipleship and prayer equip our students.   

Job responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing curricula
• Monitoring and recording student progress in a self-contained classroom
• Instilling love of Christ and delight in His magnificent creation
• Discipling in Christian character and values

Candidates:

• Possess solid experience with curriculum implementation and classroom management
• A bachelor’s degree and/or an ACSI or Ca. teaching credential (applicants without a teaching credential will be considered depending upon experience, calling, and references)
• Must be mature in Christian faith and in agreement with the PCS Statement of Faith.
