January 30th Letters

Inauguration Day one of our great days as we swear in a newly elected president. It was impressive to see all the dignitaries and watch the swearing in ceremony. But by the end of the day the name caller couldn't contain himself and reverted back to his fifth grade mentality out on the playground labeling and belittling. Now just two weeks in office he's in making statements that are as far from the truth. It's quite obvious his dislike of Newson saying he was responsible for the fires because he refused to sign a “water restoration act” no such act exist nd the military had to come in to turn on the pumps, no such thing happened. With the name caller's lacky cancelling fact checking anything you say goes, an administration thriving on fiction it should be an interesting four years if not frustrating.

Dear Citizens of Sierra County,
The California Republican Party has officially returned to Sierra County! The Sierra County Republican Central Committee was officially re-established on January 22, 2025. The first order of business will be to obtain and exercise our delegate status at the upcoming CAGOP Convention in Sacramento March 14 – 16, 2025.
The Committee has elected the following officers:
Colicia Palmer, Chair
Mary Ervin, Vice-Chair
Stacey Estrada, Treasurer
Michael Estrada, Secretary
This Committee will be working hard to keep our beautiful county safe from poor policies that have led other communities to being ravaged by fires. This can only be accomplished with your help in working with our Committee towards change in the policies and regulations that have plagued our state.
Your help in changing the status quo will allow us to work with our elected officials at all levels of government to stop the incursion of dangerous wildlife in our communities. Finding solutions and allowing us to protect ourselves, pets and livestock is a necessary step that needs to be taken.
We also need to work hard to preserve and regain parental rights. State mandated Ideologies our schools are being forced to incorporate are harmful to our children. With your help, we can raise our voices and protect our children.
Your help and activism is needed to effect change! If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member, please contact us at Sierracountygop@gmail.com. The meetings will be on the third Wednesday of the month from April through October. Time and location to be determined.
We look forward to working within our community to form a grassroots movement that leads to having our small but mighty Sierra County heard!
Sincerely,
The Sierra County Republican Central Committee
