About Us

My name is Todd Sloan and my wife and I are 33 year residents of Sierra County. I am a candidate for the Sierra County Board of Supervisors in District 2 and firmly believe that I can bring some changes to the Board that will benefit all of us.

Our current unemployment rate is over 18%; virtually all of our jobs are government jobs. Twelve years ago when the incumbent took office, we had hundreds of private sector jobs. Today we have about twenty four private sector jobs that pay benefits at the co-gen plant whose future is questionable.

I come from the private sector and my candidacy stands on the side of helping our local businesses, and uniting our county into one strong force that will create private sector jobs.
